I live by my special motto today And that's that anything worth doing is worth doing terribly So I decided to marry a telephone pole On my 74th birthday Cause I was bored of the constant monotony of Singing dumb songs about problems in my life And decided it was worth after 74 years of being on this earth To marry a telephone pole This telephone wasn't aware of its telephone pole It was decked in all kinds of advertisements like What you want to have on your birthday Missing people??? John's missing cat And a missing toddler too This was a special telephone pole to me Cause I could never understand the logic of Not marrying a telephone pole At least once in my life These were the top things on my bucket list Then I did it, I did it Cause I am a special guy I married a telephone pole and I liked it Telephone poles are better companions than actual people They never fight with you or anything of that sort And they can always be there with you If they move in with you So, I ripped the telephone pole out of the ground And took it home with me that day Cutting the power lines for many people Yes, yes, I know Everyone hates me now cause I cut their electricity out And the city is looking for me And no one's recognizing my marriage with the telephone pole But it's true And anyone who disagrees on that fact Well They just don't believe in telephone poles Having feelings cause they do cause they're very special They're living breathing creatures, you know that?
